The new built pension „Michal“ is situated in the listed reservation of the popular architecture in the village Ždiar in the beautiful milieu of Belianske Tatra that belong to the nicest parts of the High Tatra. The pension of the family type is estimated for more demanding clients, families with children which are looking for the silence, peace and relax. The accommodation has the capacity of 20 beds in 9 rooms that are double and triple bedded. Every room has its own shower bath, WC, TV satellite. There is a sauna for 4 persons available. In case of need is possible to use the internet connection. The board is for the disposal in the restaurant with the fireplace and with the capacity of 20 places only for accommodated guests which can order half board: breakfast (widely distributed continentally) and dinner (soup, main dish, dessert). For these ones that like to sit at the glass of good wine is available a vine room with the fireplace in the farmyard style. The clients which want to take a breath of fresh air have for disposal a terrace with the view of the beautiful panorama of Belianske Tatra. The pension is suitable leaving point for day hiking to the sight seeing of cultural and historical memories – Spišský castle that is registered in the list of the cultural relics of UNESCO, Kežmarok and Ľubovňa castles, palace Strážky with the stationary exhibition of the painterof world-wide signification of Ladislav Mednyánsky. You can have pleasure from the natural beauties in Slovak Paradise, in Belianska and Dobšinská caves, with the rafting on the river Dunaječ. For the active relaxation are here more and less demanding tourist routs – High Tatra, Javorina, Magura, Belianske Tatra. The bathing and relax offer the thermal resorts in Vrbov, Aquapark Poprad and Tatralandia Liptovský Mikuláš.
In the winter
Ždiar is a well-know locality of the winter sports. The winter centres Ždiar – Strednica, Bachledova and Monkova Valley offer 22 ski-lifts with perfect treated slopes for beginners as well for advanced users. Near by the pension (150m) are situated the ski-lifts with the possibility of the evening’s skiing. In the centers are offered the services as Ski Service, snack-bats, ski rental service and the ski school for children and adults.
